The same AI model can feel very different when it works in a chat window, an editor or a connected project. That difference comes from the environment around the model: the interface, files, tools, permissions and workflow. A general chat system can support many software conversations, but it does not automatically see a developer’s complete project. Choosing an environment is therefore a software-development decision, not simply a judgement about a model’s reputation.
