Lesson 17: Adding, Removing and Changing List Items

What if the information in a list changes after the program has started? Python lists are designed for this, so a program can keep the same list while its contents change. The central idea is mutability: the ability of an object to have its contents altered after creation. This also explains why changing a list is different from giving a name a completely different list.
